About The Wa Cooke Group

The WA Cooke Group is an engineering company providing steel fabrication and mechanical installation across the UK. The group serves engineering sectors from municipal water treatment to clean energy. It is organised into three divisions: Engineers, Site Services and Watermark Projects, the last focused on industrial wastewater treatment systems and its DAF range.

The company was founded in 1926 as W.A Cooke & Sons in Manchester and remains family owned. Its head office in Manchester includes a 17,500 sq ft factory, and a 22,000 sq ft fabrication facility is located in Ely, Cambridgeshire. The group reports 48 employees and holds ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and UKCA (execution class 2) certifications. It is currently recruiting welder/fabricators in Manchester and a mechanical fitter with wastewater experience.
