About The Thinking Traveller
The Thinking Traveller rents luxury villas in Sicily, Puglia, Tuscany, Sardinia, Corsica and the Greek islands. The company states that its villas are operated exclusively through it, and that guests can book online with real-time availability. Its local teams also arrange experiences such as cooking classes, private boat trips and helicopter flights.
Customers are travellers booking villa holidays in these Mediterranean regions, who can book online or enquire with the company's villa specialists. The company's founders, Huw and Rossella Beaugié, started the business in Sicily in 2002. In 2021 it joined forces with White Key Villas, a Greek villa business, and expanded its Greek portfolio.
The company is headquartered in London and has offices in East London and Athens. It is a B Corp certified company. Condé Nast Traveller readers voted it Best Villa Rental Company in the World in 2026, its eleventh such vote. Open roles listed are in Athens, including Assistant Accountant and Senior Test Automation Engineer.
