About The Children's Investment Fund Foundation

CIFF is an independent philanthropic foundation that funds and scales programmes in three areas: health and nutrition, climate action, and opportunity and choice for women and girls. It works with governments, multilateral organisations, NGOs, academics and private sector partners, and says it aims to support locally owned solutions.

Its endowment is held separately from The Children's Investment Fund (TCI), and approved programmes are funded from that endowment and from some restricted gifts. The website states over $4 billion in active charitable investments and describes the foundation as working to catalyse further private and philanthropic co-funding.

CIFF was established in 2002 and is registered in England and Wales. It lists offices in London, Addis Ababa, Nairobi, Delhi and Beijing. Its careers page lists open roles, including Senior Manager and Senior Analyst positions in sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) based in London, and a talent pool.
