About Terratico
Terratico makes eco-concrete products from plastic waste and concrete, including slabs, pavers, tiles, park benches, flooring and public fixtures. Its patented formulation uses a plastic endoskeleton and is described as up to 30% lighter than standard concrete, with up to 40% plastic waste content. Product lines are Slabs, Urban and Create, the last offering custom architectural elements and bespoke precast designs.
The company targets architects, designers, developers, municipalities, institutions and builders of construction projects. Its stated customers include construction projects and city or public-space buyers.
Terratico was founded in 2022 in Žilina, Slovakia, and was launched on a 2019 idea by the Nagy family, who have experience in terrazzo, precast and industrial concrete. In 2024 it received backing from CB ESPRI, Crowdberry and the Venture to Future Fund. The company lists careers and a technical sheet and sample request on its site.
