About Terenui

Terenui publishes Grimoires, a modular software suite for critical care. It records medical events for a patient, including scores, drug and examination prescriptions, care administration and monitoring, and also manages care organisation within a unit, such as medication administration plans. Modules cover resuscitation (adults, paediatrics, neonatology), anaesthesia (pre-operative, intra-operative and PACU), emergency departments, and Express, an interoperability module. The modules share a common database and can be used separately or together.

The software is aimed at hospital resuscitation and anaesthesia departments. Grimoires is a CE-marked medical device (class I under Directive 93/42/EEC), and the company is pursuing CE marking under Regulation (EU) 2017/745, class IIa, with AFNOR as notified body. The company also states that Grimoires is compatible with the French electronic health record (DMP) and with electronic prescription and care-sheet standards.

Terenui was founded in 1998 at the initiative of Christophe Heuberger and is based in Mont-Pres-Chambord (Loir-et-Cher), where it has been located since its creation. The company describes itself as an independent French company with a team of engineers, critical-care nurses, technicians, IT experts and quality specialists.
