Tensator makes queue management and crowd control products, including the Tensabarrier retractable barrier, electronic queuing (eQ), digital signage and wayfinding, safety barriers, access gates and blast-resistant wall panelling. It also offers customer experience consulting and turnkey queue flow solutions.
Its customers include airports and airlines, retail, transport, healthcare, finance, government, sport, leisure and hospitality organisations. The company works through a consultative process of discovery, design, testing and installation, and sells products together with bespoke customisation and installation. Some products, such as in-queue merchandising and digital screens, can also generate third-party advertising revenue for customers.
Tensator Limited is based in Milton Keynes, UK, where it has its headquarters and showroom. The company was founded in 2000 and states that it serves customers in more than 150 countries.
