About telio.no
Telio provides fixed-line telephony over an existing internet connection in Norway. Subscribers make flat-rate calls to Norwegian landlines and mobiles, with low per-minute rates for international calls, which can also be placed through the app. Existing phone numbers can be transferred to the service, and customers can use their own router.
The service is sold as a monthly subscription, with or without a 12-month binding period. The notice period runs through the current month plus the following month. Customer support is available by phone, chat and through a customer "Min side" account page.
The website lists Nordic calling to fixed lines and mobiles in the subscription, and states that setup takes minutes without a new line or technician. Telio notes that the service needs power and internet, so a charged mobile phone is recommended as a backup during power outages.
