About Tangled Labs

Tangled Labs Oy builds Tangled, an open-source platform for code collaboration. It supports stacked pull requests, which split large features into smaller reviewable changes, with native stacking via Jujutsu. Repositories can be hosted on self-run "knots", and CI runs on "spindles" in NixOS-based microVMs.

The platform is aimed at developers and project communities who collaborate on code. Tangled is free and open source, and it is offered both as self-hosted software and on hosted instances. It is built on AT Protocol, so users can sign in with an existing Bluesky account and submit pull requests or bug reports to repositories on other servers. Other features include a web-of-trust vouching system and a focus mode for notifications.
