About Tangle Teezer

Tangle Teezer designs and sells detangling hairbrushes and haircare tools, including the Original, Ultimate Detangler and Complete Carebrush ranges, as well as Pet Teezer brushes for dogs and cats and a detangling spray. Products are organised by hair type, such as straight and wavy, fine or fragile, and curly and coily.

Its customers are individual consumers, and products are sold through the company's own online stores, with a UK store and a separate US store. The company is part of the BIC group of brands. Production is located in China, Malaysia, the USA and Mexico, according to a company employee's statement on its careers page.

Tangle Teezer was founded in 2005 and is headquartered in London. The brand traces its origins to an idea developed in a salon in 2003 by founder Shaun Pulfrey, who later presented the concept on Dragon's Den.

Product: Detangling hairbrushes, styling and pet grooming brushes, detangling sprays and bundles sold through the brand's online stores.
