About Talurit (UK)

Talurit Group develops, manufactures and sells ferrules, sleeves, swagers, swaging dies, cutting machines, testing machines and wire rope handling equipment for mechanical splicing of wire rope. Its range also includes the Gerro Combi playground system and services such as calibration, training, testing and validation, and service and maintenance.

Customers are wire rope fabricators and users in construction, lifting and elevators, marine and offshore, mining, forestry, cable cars and other industries worldwide. The company sells equipment, ferrules and fittings, and system solutions, and states that design, manufacturing and sales are in-house.

The T-ferrule was patented in 1948 by founder Gerhard Rohland after he arrived in Sweden. The group operates seven companies, including Talurit AB in Sweden, Talurit GmbH in Germany, Talurit (UK) Ltd. in the United Kingdom, Talurit Machinery in China, Talurit Pte in Singapore, Talurit, Inc. in the USA and Talurit Middle East in the UAE. The UK entity, TALURIT (UK) LIMITED, is registered in Barnsley and was founded in 1999. Its facilities in Sweden, Germany and the UK hold ISO 9001 certification.
