About Taksi Kokkila

Taksi Kokkila Oy provides taxi and passenger transport in Uurainen and the Jyväskylä region of Central Finland. Services include on-demand taxi rides, Kela and sote-funded transport with door-to-door assistance, scheduled recurring trips for appointments, rehabilitation and therapy, and group transport to airports, train stations, hotels, events and businesses.

Customers are individual passengers, including Kela and sote-funded riders, and businesses, event organisers and travellers booking trips. Passengers pay in cash or with common payment cards, and fares depend on distance and time, following the Keski-Suomi regional taxi price list. Every trip comes with a receipt.

The company was founded in 2021 as a family business, and its owner has more than 15 years of experience in taxi transport. Its registered seat is in Höytiä, and it operates mainly in the Uurainen and Jyväskylä area. The fleet consists of 1+8 seat minibuses and 1+6 seat passenger cars that are accessible and low-emission, with wheelchairs in every vehicle and CE-marked stretchers on request.
