About synergy-munich.de
The Munich Cluster for Systems Neurology (SyNergy) studies how diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease, stroke, and multiple sclerosis develop. Its systems-neurology approach examines shared processes across neurovascular, neurodegenerative, and neuroimmunological conditions to support research into potential therapies.
SyNergy brings together researchers from eight partner institutions and has been funded by the German Research Foundation since 2012. It is based in Munich and has an open fellowship program for early-career scientists in systems neurology.
