Synergi Solutions

Synergi Solutions Oy develops the Synergi app, which connects electric vehicles, heat pumps and solar panels to shift their use to the cheapest electricity hours. Features include smart charging, solar charging that uses home panel output to charge an EV, and smart heating and cooling that adjusts indoor temperature based on real-time energy prices. The app works with more than 400 device models from major brands and requires no extra equipment.

The app is free for households. Synergi operates as a virtual power plant: it aggregates the flexibility of distributed energy resources and takes part in grid balancing, and national grid players reward Synergi and its users. Utilities, DSOs and asset owners use the platform as a technical aggregation layer, either as a full end-to-end VPP or as modular building blocks such as smart features, rewards, load forecasting and external API access for trading.

The company was founded in 2022 and is headquartered in Helsinki, Finland. It reports more than 15,000 households using the app across 15+ European countries, and states that it is the first residential aggregator qualified for the Finnish mFRR reserve market.

Product: Free Synergi app that schedules EV charging, solar charging and heating/cooling to cheaper hours, plus a VPP aggregation platform for utilities and DSOs.
