About Symphony Environmental
Symphony Environmental develops and markets masterbatches and additives for plastics. Its d2w technology makes plastic products biodegradable at the end of their service life in the presence of oxygen. The d2p range covers protective additives such as antimicrobial, insect repellent, rodent repellent, odour and ethylene adsorbers, and flame retardants. The d2t taggant is a covert marker embedded in polymers to prove recycled content and deter counterfeiting.
Its products are sold to businesses rather than consumers, usually as additives or masterbatches, through a network of over 70 distributors. Masterbatches are made by specialist factories in several locations. The company offers free technical support and free testing and reports for d2w to plastics manufacturers, and is accredited to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
