About Sympa

Sympa, a Finnish company, provides an HRIS platform that centralises employee data and automates HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including core HR, recruitment, performance, payroll and reporting. Built-in features include time registration, skills mapping, automated workflows, real-time reporting and an AI assistant. Organisation structures are configurable, and the platform offers more than 300 integrations.

Customers are HR, finance, payroll and IT teams in organisations of all sizes, including enterprises operating across countries, business units and employment types. Sympa charges per employee per month; the price includes set-up, onboarding and one payroll connector per country, and tailored pricing is offered for more complex requirements.

The company was founded in Lahti, Finland, in 2005 and is headquartered in Espoo. It has expanded to Sweden, Denmark and Norway, and reports more than 150 team members globally. Sympa has received investment from Alfvén & Didrikson and PSG, holds ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications, and has passed €25 million in annual recurring revenue.
