About Switchee

Switchee makes connected devices and a real-time data platform for social landlords. Its smart thermostat, connected sensors and Switchee-enabled Vent-Axia fan feed a dashboard that reports heating usage, mould risk, fuel poverty risk and thermal performance. An Open API passes this data into housing management and property maintenance systems such as Salesforce, Civica, NEC, Cotality and Plentific.

Customers are social housing providers in the UK, which the company says number over 130. Revenue comes from per-home pricing starting from £99 per home, covering devices, the platform and resident messaging. The company states its devices are eligible for retrofit funding under schemes including Warm Homes, ECO, ORP and SHNZF.

Switchee was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in London. Its lead investors are AXA IM Alts and Octopus Ventures, the latter joining in 2024. Leann Hearne was appointed Interim Chief Executive in 2026.
