About SUNFIBRE
SUNFIBRE develops wearable active lighting technology. Instead of passive reflective materials, it integrates actively luminous optical fibres directly into fabric, which the company says provides 360° visibility at up to 3 km in low-light conditions. The product range includes vests, jackets, backpacks, life jackets and rescue equipment.
The website lists application areas including workwear, rescue, police, military, nautical, urban safety and sports, with named partners such as Thule, KJUS, Linde MH and German police units. The company sells finished products and offers its technology for integration into other companies' products through channel partners. Revenue figures are not stated on the website.
SUNFIBRE was founded in 2014 and has its head office in Turnov, Czech Republic, where it also runs research and development and its own production hall. The company states that it holds patents and that its technology has reached dozens of countries. Its careers page lists open job openings.
