About Suerteksa
UAB "Suerteksa" is a Lithuanian subcontractor in shipbuilding, ship repair and steel construction. Its services include steelwork and certified welding, technical outfitting and piping, and surface treatment and NDT testing carried out with partners, covering blasting, painting and metallizing. It also fabricates steel constructions and small boats at its Klaipėda workshop.
Customers are shipyards and fabrication companies that subcontract fitting, welding and outfitting work. Contracts can be lump-sum or hourly. Crews work with their own equipment, tools and PPE, and the company handles mobilization and lodging.
The company was established in 2011 as a continuation of UAB "SOTI Union", founded in 2002 by the same owner. Its own production workshop in Klaipėda, about 2,000 m², has operated since January 2014. The company holds ISO 9001:2015, ISO 3834-2:2021 and EN 1090-1 certificates and states that about 230 people work for it. Current openings include fitters with shipbuilding or steel construction experience, a pipe and hot-work outfitting supervisor for EU projects, and a French-speaking supervisor/translator for projects in France.
