About Stiftung SPI Fachschulen, Qualifizierung & Professionalisierung
Stiftung SPI Fachschulen runs state-recognised vocational schools and further training courses for social and care professions. Its nursing school offers the Pflegefachfrau/Pflegefachmann qualification with an Altenpfleger:in option, and its Fachschule für Sozialpädagogik trains Erzieher:innen and Heilpädagog:innen in full-time and part-time formats. The continuing education range covers leadership qualifications, specialist further training, adaptation courses and in-house training in nursing and health care and in child and youth welfare. The SPI PraxisAkademie offers digital practice-oriented courses for educators and civil society actors.
Students and course participants are adults entering or returning to care, education and social work roles. The organisation works with practice partners such as Kitas, care facilities, hospitals and cultural institutions, and is an AZAV-certified provider for courses funded through employment promotion.
The schools are based in Berlin-Kreuzberg. The foundation's leadership team is listed on its About page, and it currently advertises a 0.75-position social worker role for the pupils of its nursing school, starting 1 December 2026 and open-ended.
Product: Recognised vocational training for nursing, Erzieher:in and Heilpädagogik, further qualifications, in-house training and digital courses via the SPI PraxisAkademie.
