About Stichting Sprank

Stichting Sprank is a Dutch foundation that provides care and support to people with intellectual disabilities. Its services are residential support (woonbegeleiding) in apartments and houses, and day care (dagbesteding), with the aim of letting clients live as independently as possible.

Clients are people with intellectual disabilities and their relatives, who can register for care through the organisation. Sprank also invites donors for structural contributions and one-off gifts.

The organisation describes itself as Christian and operates on nearly 40 locations, including Hardenberg, Amersfoort, Putten, Bergschenhoek, Bedum and Bunschoten-Spakenburg. It has a new residence under construction in Drachten and publishes a magazine, Sprankel, twice a year.
