About steinbeis.de
Steinbeis is a foundation for technology and knowledge transfer that helps people from academia and industry turn their know-how into their own companies. Its network companies, mostly legally independent firms with a Steinbeis stake, offer research, development, consulting and qualification services.
Customers are companies and organisations that commission projects from the network's experts. The foundation provides central services to its companies, including strategic and operational consulting, legal and contract advice, finance and accounting, payroll and public relations, as well as use of the Steinbeis brand.
Steinbeis has founded companies since 1983; the website states that more than 2,500 companies have been founded through it, about 1,000 of which are active today. The network counts around 4,000 experts who carry out more than 10,000 customer projects each year.
