About Stapelstein
Stapelstein makes modular, stackable elements for movement play and dynamic sitting, sold under lines such as Original, Dynamic, Board and Mat. The brand was launched in 2018 by founder and designer Stephan Schenk after more than two years of development with educators and movement specialists.
Customers are children, families and adults, including people who use the products as balance boards or seating in offices and home offices. Products are sold through the company's own online shop, which also offers gift vouchers and a birthday gift programme.
The company states that more than 800,000 children and families have used Stapelstein elements. It is organised as a purpose-owned company that reinvests profits in product development or donates them to children's research initiatives, and it works with a holacracy structure. Products carry awards and seals from the German Committee for Children's Play and Toys and AGR. Open positions include finance, venture development sales and B2B operations roles, with remote work from Germany.
Product: Modular stackable balance, sitting and movement elements and play sets for children and adults, including Original, Dynamic, Board and Mat lines.
