About sportstiming.dk

Sportstiming provides timing and results services, online event registration, and its own timing hardware for sports events of all sizes. Its products include the EVO 860 timing hardware and Black Box Timing (BBT), an open source timing product. Disciplines covered include running, trail running, cycling, triathlon, swimming, MTB and many others.

Customers are race and event organizers, from local village races to world championships. The company also sells white label solutions and hardware to other timing companies, and says it is represented in more than 30 countries. It states that it handles more than 1,000 events on its platforms each year.

Sportstiming was founded in 2001 in Aarhus, Denmark, and is headquartered there. It opened an office in England in 2013. The company states it has around 20 permanent employees. In 2025 Sportstiming ApS became part of Hawk, a Norwegian software alliance.
