About Sphere

Sphere builds a tax compliance platform for cross-border indirect tax. It determines the correct tax at the point of sale, then registers, files and remits on each local schedule. The platform also recovers input VAT, GST and use tax from accounts payable and expense data, and offers e-invoicing in each country's required format. TRAM, its AI research engine, reviews tax law, and tax experts approve each determination before a rules engine applies it.

Customers include global businesses, billing and commerce platforms, and accounting and tax advisory firms. Sphere sells on a per-region subscription: a self-serve Starter plan at $100 per region per month for fewer than 10 regions, and a custom Growth plan for 10+ regions. Input tax recovery and e-invoicing are sold as add-ons. The platform integrates with Stripe, Xero, NetSuite and QuickBooks.
