About Sparksoft
SparkSoft builds an assurance layer for applied AI. Its three products, SparkSoft Assure, Pipeline and Automate, add explanations, confidence levels, monitoring, human review and audit records to AI results on images, tables, signals over time and documents. Every product writes to the same Decision Evidence Record, and Assure is designed to work alongside existing models.
The company's customers are manufacturers, laboratories and commercial teams. Its solution packs cover industrial inspection, agriculture and bioscience, and commercial decision intelligence. SparkSoft works with design partners, starting from one workflow with agreed data and success criteria.
SparkSoft was founded in London in 2020 by Dr Peng Yue. It was selected by Innovate UK under Sovereign AI Pipeline Phase 2, one of 17 UK companies, with a grant of around £770k. Earlier, it won six UKRI and Innovate UK projects worth around £370k combined, built with the University of Sheffield and The Alan Turing Institute. It is also working with the University of Sheffield's Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) on a manufacturing demonstrator.
