About Sparks Transport
Sparks Transport provides UK-wide road haulage (pallet delivery, full and part loads), ambient warehousing, container destuffing, eCommerce pick and pack, and fully managed transport. It runs its own fleet of trucks and trailers, warehouse and staff from a seven-acre site in Glastonbury, Somerset, and says it does not subcontract these services.
The company serves businesses that move goods across the UK, Scotland and Ireland, including container collections from UK ports. Pricing is quoted on request for each load.
Sparks Transport was founded in 1933 and is a third-generation family business owned 100% by the Sparks family. Besides its Glastonbury head office it has depots at Bridgwater in Somerset and Gotham in Nottinghamshire. The website reports more than 300 trucks and trailers, more than 140 staff and over 120,000 sq ft of BRCGS AA accredited warehousing. It is recruiting HGV drivers and offers in-house Driver CPC training.
