About Spark Racing Technology
Spark Racing Technology designs, engineers and manufactures high-performance electric racing and sports vehicles. Its work includes the Formula E single-seaters it has supplied since the championship's first season, the Extreme E and Extreme H race cars, concept cars for car manufacturers, and mechatronic and e-mobility engineering projects.
Its clients include the FIA and Formula E, Extreme E and Extreme H organisers, racing teams and car manufacturers (OEMs). The company is a SAS registered in Tigery, southern Paris, and its design office, engineering team and manufacturing capabilities are located under one roof there. It was founded in 2012 by Frédéric Vasseur.
Spark was named the mandated designer and builder of the Spark-Renault SRT_01E Formula E cars in November 2012, and its prototype was homologated by the FIA in June 2013. It has won several FIA tenders, including for the Generation 3 and Generation 4 Formula E cars. Its career page lists an open Mechatronics Engineer position based in Tigery.
