About Solu Healthcare
Solu Healthcare builds Solu, a browser-based genomic surveillance platform. Users upload sequencing reads by drag and drop, and cloud processing runs assembly, species identification, MLST, AMR gene and point mutation detection, virulence factor detection, plasmid analysis, variant calling and phylogenetic tree construction. Results can be exported as PDF, Excel or FASTA/FASTQ files.
Customers are hospital laboratories, infection prevention and control teams, national or public health programmes, and research projects. Access is sold through tiered plans (Research, Genomic Surveillance and Large Scale Surveillance), with a 14-day free trial and quote-based enterprise plans. Karolinska University Hospital has selected Solu to scale its WGS analysis and reporting.
Solu Healthcare Oy was founded in 2023 and is headquartered in Helsinki. The platform identifies 2,810 bacterial and 4,549 fungal species and offers 169 species-specific analyses. It is ISO 27001 certified and GDPR compliant.
