About Solidus Tech

Solidus Tech s.r.o. develops and supplies IT and IoT solutions built on LoRaWAN, SIGFOX and NB-IoT connectivity. Its product lines cover smart city, smart metering, smart agricultural, smart actuator and smart building devices, and it offers a data visualisation application for the data these devices collect.

Customers include organisations that manage energy, water and gas consumption, city environments, fields and buildings. Devices are sold directly and through an online shop with a PDF catalogue, and the company also provides servicing support.

The company was founded in 2012 in Frýdek-Místek, with roots in telecommunications systems at Ericsson Business System, and has focused on Internet of Things since 2015. It is currently working with VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava on post-quantum secure data transfer for IoT devices in critical infrastructure, and on a co-financed EU project for protecting critical infrastructure lines together with Elektro MAR a.s.
