About Solaria
Solaria develops, builds and operates solar photovoltaic plants and battery storage systems, and is developing data centre campuses. It was founded in 2002 to specialise in solar photovoltaic energy, began by manufacturing solar modules, and closed its module plants in 2014 to focus on power generation.
Solaria manages plants in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Uruguay and Greece. It finances its projects through project finance without recourse to the parent company, and carries out development and maintenance of the plants in-house. Its first power purchase agreement, signed in 2018, was with Repsol.
The company has been listed on the Madrid stock exchange since 2007 and has been included in the IBEX 35 index since October 2020. Its headquarters are in Madrid. It states a pipeline of more than 14,200 MW and a target of 18 GW of emission-free capacity by 2030. Its open roles cover operation and maintenance, data centre project management, energy trading, occupational risk prevention, legal, battery storage engineering and graduate programmes.
Product: Solar photovoltaic power generation plants, battery energy storage, and data centre campus development.
