Sobeňák

Sobeňák operates a recreation centre by the Sobenský pond in the Brdy hills near Rožmitál pod Třemšínem. The site has 180 places in brick buildings and wooden cabins, a central kitchen and dining hall, and boats for use on the pond.

The centre accommodates groups of 30 or more people, such as children's camps, schools in nature and training retreats; individual recreation is not offered. Pricing is per person per day based on the number of contracted people and length of stay, with full board from 300 CZK including VAT, and price lists are provided on request.

The website states the centre was established in 1968, and the company Sobeňák s.r.o. (registered in Prague, founded 2018) bought it in 2018. The operator is reconstructing the site from its own funds, without subsidies. The careers page lists openings for a cook and a kitchen assistant.
