About SmartGuide

SmartGuide builds a digital audio guide platform. Visitors open a guide in the browser by scanning a QR code, and the same guide continues in the native iOS and Android app with offline maps, background audio, AR experiences and AI-based recommendations. Guides can be created with the SmartGuide CMS or produced turn-key by the company's experts, and AI helps build multilingual audio in over 30 languages.

Customers are tourism organisations, including national and regional tourism boards, museums and exhibitions, tourist attractions, emerging and hotspot destinations, and tour operators. The website describes 6k local guides, 100k places of interest and 10k audio tours. The company also runs a partner programme with brand ambassadors and market partners who introduce clients and sell the service.

SmartGuide was founded in 2018 and is headquartered in Prague, Czech Republic. The website lists awards including the CzechTourism Hero of Tourism Award 2022 and the Tourism Innovation Summit Touristtech Award 2021.

Product: Web and native mobile digital audio guide platform with a no-code guide CMS, multilingual AI audio, offline maps and AR for visitors.
