Skycode

Skycode Oy develops and publishes SkyPlanner APS, a cloud advanced planning and scheduling (APS) system that builds finite-capacity production schedules from orders, capacity and materials. Its in-house scheduling engine, Arcturus, recalculates the plan when orders or machines change, while planners set the goals, constraints and priorities and approve the result.

Customers are manufacturers in discrete and process industries, including food, pharmaceutical, metal fabrication and electronics plants. The product is sold as a subscription priced per workstation: 199 € per month includes five workstations, with 20 € per month for each additional one, and a 30-day free trial is offered. Integrations with ERP and MES systems are scoped as projects and built through a REST API.

Skycode was founded in 1997 in Vaasa, Finland, and incorporated as Skycode Oy in 2008; SkyPlanner development began in 2016. The company reports more than 5,000 installations and resellers in over 30 countries, and the product is available in 29 languages. In 2021 Skycode was named Finland's most promising automation company in the Kasvu Open growth competition.
