Skilld

Skilld builds Plasma, an open-source (EUPL) operational AI platform that turns recurring operational decisions into deterministic, auditable, sub-second responses. Plasma detects a situation, selects a policy, executes the decision and logs a trace of each action. It can be self-hosted on the customer's own infrastructure or operated by Skilld as Plasma Cloud.

Customers are enterprises in sectors including energy, transport, insurance and construction; named clients include ZE Energy, AKIEM and Galtier. Skilld earns revenue from monthly Plasma Cloud operation plans starting at 5K€ per month, from larger scale and transform engagements, and from data and AI consulting, including a paid AI Canvas strategy workshop. The Plasma platform itself is free to self-host.

Skilld was founded in 2012 and is headquartered in Malakoff, France. The company states that it is self-funded, that Plasma has been in production since 2018, and that it has more than 10 production deployments. Its founders are Julien Touzé (CEO), Jean-Baptiste Guerraz (CTO) and Nicolas Guerrier (COO).
