About Skiddle
Skiddle operates an online ticketing platform and event listings site for gigs, club nights, festivals and other events, sold through its website and app. Features include Re:Sell, which lets fans resell tickets for sold-out events at face value, and Cool:Off, a 72-hour window to return tickets for a refund with participating events. It also offers a developer API and a ticket affiliate programme.
Customers are music fans who buy tickets and event organisers, from major festivals to grassroots promoters, who sell tickets through the platform. The company states that it has sold over 17 million tickets and has over 4.3 million customers.
Skiddle was founded in 2001 as a what's-on guide by Ben Sebborn and Richard Dyer and began selling tickets in 2006. Its headquarters is in Preston, England, and its listings cover cities across the UK and Europe. It is currently recruiting a Marketing Co-ordinator based in the Northwest (Manchester / Liverpool).
