About SKELAR

SKELAR is a Ukrainian fund that invests in consumer tech businesses and provides them with capital and an operating team covering finance, legal, hiring and facilities. Its website lists portfolio companies including Liven, Dressly, Brighterly, Leaply, Spirio, StorybyWriter, AlphaNovel, PawChamp and MaxBeauty.

The fund's counterparties are founders and consumer tech teams it backs, which it says it funds from day one through to sustained profitability, bringing in outside investment when strategy requires. Its SKELAR Foundation runs education, with more than 5,000 professionals and founders having passed through its intensives and bootcamps, and the Veteran Venture Program for veteran-led businesses. The website does not describe a revenue model in detail.

The website lists offices in Lviv, Kyiv and Warsaw, and does not state a founding year. SKELAR reports ranking #1 among employers in DOU's 2024 rankings and #2 in 2025. It currently lists about 40 open roles, mostly for its portfolio companies, across marketing, customer support, finance, design and analytics, in Ukraine, Poland, Mexico, Argentina, Spain and remote.

Product: Venture investment in consumer tech companies, plus a shared operating platform and education programs through the SKELAR Foundation.
