About Sisaf
SiSaf Ltd is a biomaterials company that has developed Bio-Courier, a proprietary delivery platform that combines a bioabsorbable silicon matrix with lipids and amino acids to carry RNA into cells. Bio-Courier particles can be manufactured empty and loaded with RNA at the point of use, without an ultra-cold supply chain.
The Bio-Courier platform is licensed to industrial partners, and a partnered alopecia program has completed a Phase 2 trial. The company also develops its own siRNA and miRNA therapies for partnering, including candidates for solid tumours, osteopetrosis and achondroplasia. A research reagent, Bio-Courier TL, is due to launch for in vitro and in vivo work.
SiSaf was founded in 2006 by Dr Suzanne Saffie-Siebert, who is CEO. The company is headquartered in Guildford, England, with research labs, pilot manufacturing and bioanalytical facilities.
Product: Bio-Courier RNA delivery platform, licensed to industrial partners; Bio-Courier TL research reagent planned.
