About Sipearl

SiPearl is a fabless semiconductor company that designs high-performance, energy-efficient CPUs for HPC, AI and data centre workloads. Its first product, the Rhea1 CPU, integrates 80 Arm Neoverse V1 cores, built-in HBM memory, four DDR5 interfaces and 104 lanes of PCIe Gen5. Rhea1 is manufactured at TSMC, and a reference server design called Seine is offered for validation and customer testing.

Customers include supercomputing centres and organisations in the IT, electronics and automotive sectors. SiPearl's lead customer is JUPITER, the first European exascale supercomputer, operated by Forschungszentrum Jülich. In November 2025 the company was also named as the processor supplier for the Alice Recoque exascale system, which will use its Rhea2 processors.

SiPearl was created in June 2019 in France and is headquartered in Maisons-Laffitte. It has R&D centres in Barcelona, opened in 2021, and in Bologna, opened in 2024. The company was launched within the European Processor Initiative and closed a €130 million Series A round in July 2025.
