Silnice Klatovy

Silnice Klatovy a.s. builds roads, cycle paths, bridges, drainage and sewer systems, and carries out road reconstructions. It also operates asphalt mixing plants, a concrete plant, a sand pit, a road laboratory and recycling activities, and lays asphalt mixes.

The company works mainly for towns and municipalities, the Czech Road and Motorway Directorate (ŘSD) and regional road administrations (SÚS), and also for private investors. It states that it operates in the West and South Bohemian regions and holds quality, environmental and occupational safety certifications.

The company was founded in 1992 through the separation of part of the former Silnice Plzeň enterprise and has its seat in Klatovy, with production sites in Nýřany, Luby u Klatov, Svrčovec and Dobršín u Sušice. It states it has about 150 employees and is a Czech company without foreign capital. Its careers page lists four open full-time positions in Klatovy and Dobršín: site manager, construction production foreman, bricklayer/labourer and paver machine operator.
