SIERA

SIERA is a group that connects environmental engineering firms, investors and partners. Its engineering work covers soil and contaminated-land remediation, water and wastewater treatment (SIERA NanoAqua), climate, circular economy, nature and infrastructure, delivered through member engineering companies. The wider ecosystem also includes SIERA Core project infrastructure, the SIERA Impact Fund, SIERA Academy, SIERA Impact Events, SIERA Magazine and the Mustard Seed philanthropic initiative.

The website addresses clients who need environmental engineering projects, investors seeking sustainable engineering investments, and engineering firms interested in joining the network. The input does not describe the revenue model in detail; the SIERA Impact Fund is described as a regulated investment platform, and the member firms carry out engineering projects.

The website states more than 30 locations and over 800 experts. Named member companies include BIG – Prof. Burmeier Ingenieurgesellschaft, M&P Ingenieurgesellschaft, ICP Ingenieure, seecon Ingenieure, TABERG Ingenieure and Tucher Ingenieure, with offices across Germany. The founding year and headquarters are not stated; the address list includes SIERA Germany GmbH in Bremen. The careers pages list 40 open positions, mainly project managers and engineers for contaminated sites, demolition, geotechnics and waste management, plus HR and recruiting roles, in German cities.
