About Shortedition

Short Édition publishes short stories, poetry and comics and delivers them through Short Story Dispensers, which print a 1-, 3- or 5-minute read on an eco-friendly paper scroll at no cost to the reader. The content is created by paid independent writers and curated by an editorial team.

Its partners include public libraries, universities, schools, EdTech companies, hospitals, real estate and retail operators, and transportation hubs, where the dispensers are installed. The company reports 650+ dispensers installed in 23 countries and 40M+ stories offered through them.

The company is registered in Tullins, France, and was founded in 2011 in Grenoble by four founders. Its first dispenser was installed in Grenoble in October 2015. The team of 15 works from Grenoble, Paris and New York, and the company describes itself as a scale-up.

Product: Short Story Dispensers that print original short stories, poetry and comics on eco-friendly paper scrolls, plus a library of short fiction.
