About Shark Robotics

Shark Robotics designs and manufactures firefighting, security, demining and defence robots. The product line includes the Colossus heavy firefighting robot, the Rhyno Protect medium firefighting robot, the Barakuda mule robot with a 500 kg payload, the Shark Spike advanced spike strip and the Atrax EOD demining robot. The company says it develops robotics hardware, software, AI and its own batteries in-house.

Its customers include first responders, defence and security forces, and industrial teams working in high-risk environments.

Shark Robotics was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in La Rochelle, France, where it designs and assembles its robots in its own workshop. It also has a Singapore office, in operation since 2019, serving partners and clients in Asia. The company lists an open after-sales service technician (SAV) role on its careers page.
