About Seram Coatings

Seram Coatings develops and supplies ThermaSiC, a silicon carbide-based ceramic coating applied through conventional thermal spray processes. The coating is designed for wear resistance, corrosion protection and high-temperature stability.

Customers use the coating on components in metal and aluminium manufacturing, glass production, aerospace and other industrial applications. Seram Coatings originated from research at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology; pilot production was established at Herøya Industrial Park in Porsgrunn in 2018, and an in-house test facility and spray booth were added in 2022.

The company is headquartered in Porsgrunn, Norway, and has an open Sales Office Manager position there.
