About SENZOMATIC
Senzomatic develops a sensor system for 24/7 monitoring of moisture and water leaks in wooden constructions and flat roofs. Sensors (MHT, HT, HT-R, FHT-I and IAQ types) send data to a central unit and then to the cloud, where algorithms distinguish genuine risk from false positives. Alerts, remote expert diagnosis and optional automatic water shut-off are available, and sensors can be installed wired, wireless or as a hybrid.
The service is offered as a fully managed monitoring service that covers system design, monitoring and data interpretation. Customers include owners of wooden and timber buildings and timber construction companies, and B2B partners receive price agreements on request. Clients view their data through a web account or a mobile app, and free project analysis and expert consultation are offered before ordering.
The technology was developed from research at CTU UCEEB starting in 2014, and the company Senzomatic, s.r.o. was founded in 2019. Its registered seat is in Prague, and it also has offices in Vienna and Toronto. Pilot projects ran in Germany, Austria and Slovenia in 2021, and the company reports monitoring the Czech Pavilion at Expo in Japan and expansion into Canada, Sweden and France in 2025.
Product: Sensor-based 24/7 moisture and water-leak monitoring system with a central unit, cloud algorithms, alerts and optional water shut-off, offered as a managed service.
