About SEED SERVICE
SEED SERVICE s.r.o. produces and sells certified seeds, forage and agricultural seed mixes, and lawn seed mixes. It mixes and packs seed in-house, offers contract seed multiplication with Czech farmers who grow selected varieties for the company, and has brought several crop varieties to market, including sorghum and grass varieties.
Customers include farmers in the Czech Republic and abroad, including independent farm holders, as well as agricultural and seed companies. Orders are placed by e-mail, and regional representatives provide agronomic advice and help select seeds or mixes. More than two-thirds of production is sold mainly within the European Union, and some customers are overseas.
The company was registered in 2004 and its seed activity dates back to 1991, according to its website. It is headquartered in Vysoké Mýto, where it shares a site of nearly 15,000 m² with its sister company Frumenta s.r.o. In 2021 it became the majority owner of Oseva Seeds s.r.o. in Horaždovice, and it has a Slovak branch, SEED SERVICE SK. The company employs almost thirty people and is currently hiring a seed multiplication and sales specialist.
Product: Certified seeds, forage and agricultural seed mixes, and lawn seed mixes, plus contract seed multiplication.
