About SDL Surveying

SDL Surveying is a UK property surveying firm. It carries out mortgage valuations on behalf of lenders and RICS home surveys (Level 2 and Level 3 reports) for home buyers. It also provides independent valuations for probate, Help to Buy and shared ownership purposes, and Energy Performance Certificate assessments.

Its customers are mortgage lenders, which instruct it to value properties, and home buyers who book surveys directly. The company also works with two of the UK's largest mortgage networks and with estate agency branches across the UK on a referral basis. Surveys are carried out by employed surveyors and by an external network of local independent chartered surveying firms.

The company was established in 1989 and its head office is in Chilwell, Nottinghamshire. It works with most major UK lenders and handles well over 200,000 valuations per year. It is recruiting RICS-qualified surveyors for full-time, part-time and consultant roles in several UK postcode areas.

Product: Mortgage valuations for lenders, RICS Level 2 and Level 3 home surveys, independent valuations and EPC assessments.
