About Scholastic
Scholastic UK publishes and sells children's books, reading programmes and classroom resources. Its offerings include the PM reading programme, Assess, Practice, Revise primary assessment materials, GCSE revision guides, and teacher resources.
Schools are the core customer group, served through Book Fairs and Book Clubs, where schools earn free books from sales; the company also runs a children's bookshop online and sells to families. The company is registered in Warwick, England, and was founded in 1961. The website describes the parent group as the world's largest publisher and distributor of children's books and says it works with more than 50 publishers.
The site advertises open vacancies for self-employed School Sales Consultants to promote and sell teacher resources, reading series and children's books for Scholastic Education.
Product: Children's books, school Book Fairs and Book Clubs, PM reading programme, and assessment and revision resources.
