About SBA Research
SBA Research is a research center for information security in Austria. It conducts applied research and development in information security and publishes its results in peer-reviewed venues. It also offers trainings, consulting and professional services such as NIS-2 and ISO 27001 advice, risk management and testing and audits.
Its customers include ministries, authorities, large companies and SMEs, and the centre works with industrial and public partners on long-term projects. It is a nonprofit research institution funded partly through the Austrian FFG COMET Competence Centers programme, and it runs an accelerator programme for IT security start-ups that has operated since 2015.
SBA Research was founded in 2006 by TU Wien, Graz University of Technology and the University of Vienna. Its headquarters is in Vienna, and it employs more than 130 people according to its website. It is hiring for a speculative application for research positions.
