Satispay

Satispay is a mobile payments app. Users pay in stores by scanning a QR code or selecting a shop in the app, pay online at checkout using a phone number or QR code, and send money to contacts. Accounts are funded from a bank account by IBAN, and payments are drawn from the in-app balance. The product range also includes Satispay cards in Plus, Metal and Velvet tiers, a remunerated savings product, managed funds, and stocks and ETFs.

Customers are private users, merchants who accept payments through Satispay Business, and companies that offer the Satispay welfare product (meal vouchers, purchase vouchers and FlexBen). The website states 6.5 million clients, more than 450,000 merchants and over 500,000 users who invest through the app. The website does not describe the revenue model in detail, but it lists paid card tiers and merchant services.

The website is published in Italian. Open job listings cover offices in Milan, Luxembourg, Barcelona, London, Amsterdam and Naples, and include roles in product, engineering, fincrime, legal and compliance, and a Chief Financial Officer for Satispay Bank. The input does not state a founding year or headcount.
