About Sapotech
Sapotech builds machine vision systems that combine image processing, illumination and deep learning to inspect and monitor metal production. Its Reveal PLATFORM integrates hardware, software and AI for real-time visualization, data acquisition, analysis and storage. Its product line includes Reveal CAST, a surface inspection system, along with Reveal TAP and Reveal PLATFORM.
Customers are metal producers in the steel, aluminium, ferrochromium, nickel and copper industries. Solutions can be bought as systems or provided as a continuous service that includes full system use and maintenance. Sapotech offers a 6-month assessment period before a final decision.
Sapotech was founded in Oulu, Finland, in 2012, and its office is in Oulu; some team members work from Helsinki and Tampere. It has partnerships with Intocast AG for EAFs, BOFs, ladles and continuous casting, and with Evertz Europe for grinding processes. Its first Reveal CAST system in Japan was commissioned in early 2023.
